Main Branch of the County Library, County Complex, 314 Route 12, Flemington 7pm Tom Rago came to Flemington in 1991 as a part of the newly founded Main Street Antique Center. He quickly made friends with some of the local dealers and soon became a member of the newly founded Stangl/ Fulper Club. His interest  and passion in local potteries became more pronounced over the years. In the 20+ years since his start in Flemington Tom has written a book on the Trenton Potteries, he has lectured in various venues on the subject of American Art Potteries generally and local potteries specifically. He has also been the auctioneer and show promoter for the Stangl/Fulper Auction and Stangl/Fulper Show respectively. Tom enjoys educating people on the importance of the pottery industry in the USA and in this lecture he will discuss the huge impact Fulper and Stangl had and still are having on the history of Flemington.
