The Hunterdon County Tricentennial Committee and their star sponsors have booked a special concert series that highlight 300 years of music found in Hunterdon County.
This week's we will be featuring The Allentown Band as they perform Sousa and Patriotic Music.

READING OF THE DECLARATON OF INDEPENDENCE
The public is cordially invited to experience the declaration of independence as it was first introduced to the people of Hunterdon County. The program is expected to last approximately ½ hour.

Join Tricentennial Star Sponsor, ExxonMobil on the 175th birthday of the founder of Standard Oil, now ExxonMobil, John D. Rockefeller, for an interesting history about this company's long relationship and presence in Hunterdon County -- far longer than the 30 years of the Technology Center. An opportunity to peek at the complex, but due to Security restrictions at this location, no one will be admitted without a reservation in advance and no picture taking is permitted. Following the talk, refreshments will be served compliments of ExxonMobil.

Lecture and powerpoint of the beauty of the architecture of Hunterdon; Gothic, Victorian, Arts and Crafts -- Hunterdon has them all. Lecture by the wonderful architect, Chris Pickell, AIA who has restored and saved many notable buildings in downtown Historic Flemington and beyond.

FREE CONCERT UNDER THE STARS - DOUBLE FEATURE WITH "HUNTERDON HARMONIZERS AND PRINCETON BRASS BAND"
In a salute to turn of the 20th century music heard in Hunterdon County, the Hunterdon Harmonizers will perform mostly traditional Barbarshop Quartet music at 7 pm. Following a brief intermission, at 8 pm, brass band music will be featured by The Princeton Brass Band. Census data from Hunterdon County from the early 1900s lists a number of people's occupations as "Brass Band Musician." Under the baton of conductor Dr. Stephan Arthur Allen, The Princeton Brass Band, 2013 Champion Band of North America (NABBA), is one of the leading creative and artistic forces in the growing North American brass band scene.
